Product DescriptionWallWizard's 1.0" thin TA55 motorized tilt mount is perfect for today's slim LCD and LED TVs, providing enhanced viewing as it reduces glare and reflections. TA55 tilts your TV down at the touch of a button and returns to an aesthetically pleasing upright flush position when not in use. With the included learnable IR receiver, you can program any universal remote control to adjust the tilt position. The WallWizard TA55 is the industry's thinnest motorized tilt mount that offers user-friendly design, and a simple installation process. With the optional ControlWand Wi-Fi adapter (sold separately), a hand held device such as your iPhone or iPod touch can be used to control the mount via auto, manual, and gyro modes. In the gyro mode, the motion of the mount is synchronized with the motion of the hand held device without having to push a button. The TA55 fits most 37"- 55" flat panel TVs up to 100 lbs. The 0°/-10° variable tilt lets you get the perfect viewing angle for your mounted HDTV. The motorized TA55 automatically tilts the TV down to the desired angle when the TV is turned on, reducing or eliminating glare and reflections. When not in use, the mount automatically tilts the TV flush against the wall when the TV is turned off. The TA55's slim 1" profile makes the mount nearly invisible and provides an attractive mounting solution for your large HDTV displays. A RS-232 port is available for automation control and integration with whole-house control systems. And by connecting the optional ControlWand Wi-Fi adapter (sold separately) via the TA55's built-in USB port, you can use your smartphone, iPhone, or iPod touch to adjust and control your HDTV's tilt. The WallWizard ControlWand app can be downloaded from your smartphone or mobile device's App Store and lets you operate your motorized WallWizard mount from the palm of your hand. And ControlWand's user-friendly interface is organized intuitively so that Apple and smartphone users will feel right at home from the start. With your mobile device controlling the TA55, choose between Auto, Manual, and Gyro modes. Auto mode will power on your motorized mount and your TV, automatically setting it to a predetermined angle. Manual mode will allow you to make manual adjustments to your mount's tilt angle using buttons on your device's touch screen. Gyro mode will allow you to use your smartphone's built-in accelerometer to adjust the mount by tilting your mobile device in the air. The WallWizard TA55 features a slippage gear mechanism for safety that stops the tilting motion if it meets any resistance--protecting both you and your valuable television equipment. Included with this motorized mount is a learning IR remote. "Teach" the remote commands from your existing remotes for a more integrated experience, allowing you to control the mount and your TV from a single device.
