Enclosure Recommendations:
The LS208 lends itself more for ported enclosures than sealed. The following are recommendations based on 500 watts of RMS power. Great for tight places such as under the seat or a custom console install.
1 Cubic Foot ported, 4” round x 10” long: This size will give you a resonant frequency of 44Hz with a 5dB increase over sealed. Sub-bass extension is strong as well as a very hard-pounding bass. Great for SPL if you want them to hear you coming.
.5 Cubic Feet sealed: (Recommended)
This size will give you a resonant frequency of 50Hz. Stronger upper bass extension with a -3dB down point of 38Hz. With this box you are at full excursion at 300 watts RMS.
